Gun Lake
Paddlesports is a small business that has developed from
a desire to learn and participate in the exiting sport
of seakayking as well as minimalist camping and
exploring. You will likely find us at several West
Michigan Coastal Kayak (wmcka.org) events annually as well as other
paddling and camping events thru out Michigan.
Originally run from
my residence at Gun Lake in SW Michigan, GLPS has moved into a real storefront in nearby
Wayland, Michigan, and combined with our other
business,Sand Auto LLC.
The needed room at
this location, allows us to display kayaks as well as
Microlite Trailers, along with a selection of vehicles,
campers, boats, and other assorted toys that follow us
home from time to time.
Gun Lake
Paddlesports offers new high end seakayaks from Seaward,as well
as
pre-owned models and lesser priced new models from
theWalden Company. Although paddling is how we started,
camping has led us to offering models of minimalist
camping trailers and related products from Microlite
Trailers Inc. Being involved with the Microlite Company
nearly since its inception, it is our collective goal to
make our Wayland facility a factory showroom and
delivery center for Microlite products.
